Mighty Giving  Events|Projects

We give back to the medical community where Meredith continues to receive treatment.  She was the beneficiary of donations from strangers each time she stepped into a treatment room or was hospitalized. Therefore, our giving focuses on giving back to the two hospitals where she has and continues to receive medical care, which includes Tufts Floating Hospital for Children and Boston Children’s Hospital.  We have extended our reach to local pediatricians and members of the community in need of bike helmets for  TBI Awareness.

MIGHTY

Meredith was able to pay in forward to the HEMONC Clinic and Child Life Services at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts, through using her 12th birthday party to collect gift cards, hosting a bake sale and lemonade stands with friends, and using birthday money.  A total of $500.00 in gift cards were donated to those families under the care of the clinic in need of a pick-me-up or simply a cup of coffee "on the house".

Meredith received much of her treatment for the blood clot in her brain at the Tufts Floating Hospital for Children - Hematology and Oncology Clinic.  Although Meredith was sick, she knew others were sicker and could see it every time she was at the clinic.  She had collected Teddy Bears from a prior birthday party and donated them to the HEMONC Clinic.
