Meredith is the heart and inspiration behind the Mighty Meredith Project. After her traumatic brain injury, one of her physicians encouraged her to find a new outlet, something meaningful to help fill the space left by the activities she could no longer enjoy and to support the emotional impact of living with a chronic medical condition. Through months of reflection, conversation, and the desire to transform hardship into hope, the Mighty Meredith Project was created. That was in 2017.

Today, Meredith is a junior at Quinnipiac University studying Nursing, a path that feels like a natural extension of her journey. As someone who has spent years as a patient, she understands how deeply it matters to feel seen, valued, and cared for. Her lived experience fuels her passion for helping others, especially those facing battles that are often invisible.

She remains profoundly grateful to her friends, family, and community for standing beside her every step of the way, and for helping turn her personal journey into a mission that lifts others.
