Fundraising is a big part of the Mighty Meredith Project with all proceeds benefiting the mission and purpose of our organization in addition to minor administration costs. No donation is too small and donations are more than monetary. Many of our philanthropic partners have volunteered their office space, marketing skills, product and time to help bring the mission and purpose of the Mighty Meredith Project to life. The Fill the Box campaign was started after Meredith saw first hand the impact generosity from strangers has during her medical treatments offered through Child Life departments.
As part of the Mighty Giving mission, this is an effort to collect toys, gift cards and items of comfort to be donated to both the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts and Boston Children's Hospital for patients just like her who may be in need of something special during a difficult day .
In addition, this effort also supplies gifts to be delivered on Christmas day at Tufts Floating Hospital for Children and sponsors two families who are paitents in the Neurology departments who have fallen on hard times.
